DH Support
The Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities offers a number of services to advise and guide digitally-enabled research in the arts and humanities at Ghent University and beyond. The Ghent CDH offers advice, guidance and training for new and ongoing projects in which digital tools, methods or collections are used. We offer support throughout the whole project lifecycle including funding applications, project management, measuring impact , and advising on the sustainability of results after the end of project funding. We have successfully supported funding applications within Ghent University, in Flanders (FWO), at Belgian federal level (Belspo) and in Europe (H2020). For research data management and data management plans we work closely with the Library Lab of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy Library.
The GhentCDH is an active participant in DARIAH-EU, the Digital Research Infrastructure in the Arts and Humanities and is currently the National Coordinating Institution for DARIAH-BE. In this context, GhentCDH is leading the development of the Virtual Research Environment Service Infrastructure (VRE-SI), funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). We work closely with both DARIAH and CLARIN - European Research Infrastructure for Language Resources and Technology colleagues, particularly in the Benelux region.
