We enter the year 2015 with a bang and two happy announcements:
GhentCDH is delighted to welcome Sally Chambers as its new coordinator. Sally Chambers is currently winding down her duties as Secretary General of DARIAH-EU, the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities. In her new position, Sally Chambers will be based at Ghent University, where she will coordinate both the Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities and the development of DARIAH-BE, the Belgian chapter of DARIAH.
We also thank our former coordinator, dr. Thorsten Ries, for his invaluable contribution to the startup of GhentCDH. Thorsen Ries left the coordinatorship in order to take up a position as senior research fellow of the Flemish Research Foundation (FWO). He remains affiliated with GhentCDH and with the Department of LIterary Studies at Ghent University.
Congratulations to both of them!
Happy New Year to you all!
